Q: Will a way to 'advertise' an establishment outside of Ambulation be made available? You've mentioned that hotspots will develop by themselves, but aside from spamming local to advertise your new clothing shop or uhh.. 'Entertainment' establishment; will there be other ways to advertise?

They have not mentioned such a thing.
Are you a dev? I wasn't aware of your promotion.  The question was addressed to Eris, or another qualified individual. That's what this thread is for, right?

Lui Kai has done the same thing, though she tends to actually look up responses and give links when they are available. Hopefully, the devs can still provide an answer if they have one, somewhere.
I consider Lui Kai one of the said qualified individuals. As far as I had read, they hadn't mentioned anything on it.. so B1FF's response was not profitable.

Which part, the tactical maps, the gambling, or the 'confirmation' that either of those will be in the first release?

When the expansion comes out, you will be required to change your 'avatar portrait' to a 'full-body avatar.' As part of that, I assume the ingame and forum avatar will update to some degree as well. It has also been stated in several of the articles that changing your character's appearance will be a simple procedure, but that it might cost you some isk to do so. :)

That map is a tactical map. You may have seen it mentioned in this thread a couple times. There is more information here. Not sure if it will be made for 'drawing' but, us players are inventive.
